 Balochistan: Driver of FWO vehicle injured in blast, two railway employees killed

PANJGUR: A Vehicle of the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) was damaged and a man was wounded in an IED attack in Panjgur, Balochistan, on Friday.

According to details the FWO vehicle was being escorted by the Pakistani security forces when it was blown up with remote controlled device Sabzab area of Panjgur.

“As a result of the explosion, the vehicle was partially damaged,” a Levis official told media sources.

Sajid, the driver of the vehicle, sustained minor injuries due to the blast but his condition is said to be out of danger.

Meanwhile in a separate incident unknown armed men riding on motorcycles opened fire at the camp of railway employees and killed two of them on the spot.

The killed men were named as Saifal Pirkani and Faqeer Hussain Lashari who were working on a railway track between Mithri and Dangra train station.

The attackers managed to flee unharmed after the attack. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

Several railway employees strongly protested against the killing of their colleagues and demanded protection and arrest of the killers.
