Britain and the civilised world should check Pakistan’s human rights violations record: Baloch National Voice

The Baloch National Voice termed Raheel Sharif’s demand from the government of United Kingdom to take action against Baloch leader Hyrbyair Marri and other Baloch political activists in UK as cruel joke and an evil design.

The BNV said on Saturday that the Baloch nation hopes that a democratic country like the UK will not heed to an ‘international blackmailer’ state like Pakistan and before taking action against Baloch activists the UK should have a thorough look at ‘religious fundamentalist state’ Pakistan’s real intentions and its double game against West. “The United States, UK and other democratic power in world have recognised the true face of fundamentalist state of Pakistan in past decades because Pakistan’s lies are in stark contrast to the ground realities.”

According the BNV statement on one hand Pakistan has been receiving billions of dollars from Western countries in the name of fight against terror while on the other hand it used those resources to nurture and provide safe sanctuaries to extremists. “It is an undeniable fact that Osama Bin Laden and several other well-known leaders of religious extremist organisations were protected and facilitated near military cantonments in Pakistan.”

“Pakistan has been using Western supplied weapons to crush the secular Baloch freedom movement and kill innocent Baloch civilians including women and children,” the BNV said adding that despite all these crimes against humanity if the international community still supports Pakistan is which involved in destroying world peace, then such actions will give birth to many questions.

The BNV said that Baloch leader Hyrbyair Marri was earlier [in 2007] arrested in Britain but an ordinary British jury found him not guilty and he was acquitted. “Now General Raheel Sharif’s demand to take action against Mr Marri and other Baloch political activists once again is nothing but a cruel joke,” BNV added,

According the statement Britain is well aware about the history of Baloch nation and Pakistan deceptive policies.  The world community is also aware of the fact that Baloch are struggling against Pakistan to regain their sovereignty and democratic state where the religious extremism will have no space.

The BNV alleged that Pakistan has poised Nawab Khair Baksh Marri the aged leader of Baloch freedom struggle to death and Pakistani forces abducted and literally tortured to death under-custody thousands of other prominent Baloch leaders and activists including Ghulam Mohammad Baloch chairman of BNM and Jalil Reki a senior leader of BRP.

“Thousands of people including elderly, youth and women & children are currently under the illegal custody of Pakistani security forces, mass graves containing hundreds of bodies were found in Balochistan, indiscriminate bombardment against civilian populations across Balochistan and mixing poisonous substances to water in an effort to kill thousands of people and their livestock, burning of crops and throwing down Baloch prisoners from helicopters and shooting them are all crimes against humanity that Pakistan army has been and is still committing in Balochistan,” said the BNV in its statement.

The Baloch National Voice said that despite such heinous crimes if Britain or any other country take action against Baloch political activists on their territory then such actions will be regards as complicity of those state with Pakistan against Baloch people. “We appeal the United Kingdom and all other free and democratic states that before taking any action against Baloch leaders and activists on the demand of Pakistan army, thoroughly look into the history of Baloch people and the repressive policies of fundamentalist state of Pakistan.”
