Balochistan: Balochi language poet, his son and two others abducted
Pakistani security forces abducted another four Baloch including a Balochi language poet along with his son from Pasni and Chaman areas of Balochistan on Tuesday.
Anwar Sahib Khan Baloch and his son Waseem Anwar Baloch were abducted from their home in Ward number 6 in Pasni Balochistan just after midnight on Tuesday.
The well-known Balochi language poet and play writer and his son have been taken to an undisclosed location.
The other inhabitants of the house reported that the Pakistani security forces harassed and beaten up women and children who tried to resist the arrest of the two men.
The resident of Pasni called for a strike against the arrest and disappearance of Mr Anwar Sahib Khan and his son Waseem Anwar.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday Pakistan forces abducted another two men named as Kolmir Bugti, 65 and Imtiaz Bugti in Chaman town of Balochistan.
The Baloch Republican Party Swiss Chapter in a tweeted that the men were relatives of one of their members, Mr Azizullah Bugti, who also lives in Switzerland where he applied for political asylum.
“BRP #Swiss chapter General Secretary AzizullahBugti’s uncle Kolmir Bugti & brother Imtiaz Hussain abducted from Chaman city of Balochistan.”
The whereabouts of all four men remain unknown until the filing of this report.
Voice for Baloch Missing Persons – a Baloch Human Rights Organisation striving for safe release of Baloch missing persons says that Pakistani security forces have abducted more than 20,000 Baloch since the beginning of the new phase of military operations in Balochistan in end 2000.
