 Balochistan: Six killed, around two dozen including women and children abducted during Sui military offensives

QUETTA: Pakistani security forces have shot dead six people and abducted around two dozen during Sui Dera Bugti military offensives in part three days.

According to details the Pakistani military, Frontier Corps and intelligence agency launched fresh offensives in Uch area of Dera Bugti three days ago.

Local sources reported that Pakistani forces killed at least six people in cold blood after they were apprehended and made to stand in line before shooting them dead.

The victims have been named as Rehan son of Lashaar Bugti, Gull Mohammad son of Yaqub Bugti, Qado son of Gahna Bugti, Ghafoor son of Sawali Bugti, Mewa son of Pahr Deen Bugti, and Pahlo son of Bari Bugti.

At least another ten people have reportedly been wounded in the Uch offensive.

Pakistani forces carried out a house-to-house reach operation and burnt down around two dozen houses, and also seized and took away four motorcycles, a tractor and at least 200 sheep and goats.

However, Pakistani forces and media claim that the four men were killed in a gun battle against Pakistani forces.

Daily Balochistan Express reported, “Heavy exchange of fire continued for at least two hours in which four armed militants were killed,” Security officials said, adding that during operation five militants were taken into custody.

The Pakistani officials also describe the demolished house of Baloch people as ‘hideouts of militants’.

The military attacks and shelling by gunship helicopters continued until the filing of this report.
