QUETTA: At least two men were wounded in a landmine explosion early Monday morning in the Kohlu district of Balochistan.

According to the Balochistan Levies, the blast occurred in the Bareli area of Mawand Tehsil injuring Muhammad Naseem and Zakariya Mari.

Meanwhile, Azad Baloch, the official spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) informed media outlets from an undisclosed location that BLA fighter target two collaborators of Pakistani forces in Bareli area of Mawand.

He told media, “We carried out the IED attack against state agents and our such actions will continue until freedom of Balochistan.”

Four days prior to Kohlu explosion, the BLA fighters attack three FC check posts in Kharan Balochistan and claimed to have killed and injured several Pakistani security officials.

On 8 December, Azad Baloch of BLA informed media that FC had erected check post in government Medal school and PTLC which the Baloch fighters have attacked.

He said, “We could have carried out this attack in the daytime as well, but we did not want to harm innocent school children. We request Baloch nation to avoid sending their children to FC and other Pakistani security forces controlled schools.”

Azad Baloch vowed to continue attacks against Pakistani security forces in Balochistan.
