Balochistan: Dozens have been abducted during three days of military offensive in Bolan
QUETTA: Pakistan forces have been conducting offensives in several areas of district Bolan from past three days without interruption.
The details of people abducted in Bolan military offensives have started to emerge after three days of continuous military attacks and siege of the affected areas.
Some of the abducted people from Indus Chalhadi area have been named as 40-year-old nomad Haji Aziz Somalani, Jalamb son of Tor Khan Mazarani Marri 43-year-old nomad, Jumma Khan Mohammad Hassani 75-year-old nomad, Peero Mohammad Hassani 80-year-old farmer, Apodsi Mohammad Hassani 40-year-old farmer, Ghazo somalani 35-year-old nomad, Akbar Somalani 40-year-old nomad, Taimor Khan 38-year-old farmer and Sher Khan son of Taimor Khan 30-year-old nomad.
Whereas Badho Mazarani, Shadi Gul Chalgari, Maishdaar Somalani, Lalo Mazarani, Gulab Khan Mazarani have been abducted along with their other family members from Kaman, Gadang, Buzgar and Gharbok areas of Bolan.
Pakistani forces have also set the houses of the abducted persons on fire and took away their livestock.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has accepted that Pakistani forces have conducted Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) in Dear Murad Jamali Dera Murad Jamali, Pashtoonabad, Sangan, and Shahrag areas of Balochistan and abducted 20 ‘terrorists’.
However, ground reports from Balochistan suggest that most of the abducted people are innocent villagers, nomads and farmers whom the Pakistani army is trying to portray as ‘terrorists’.
In a separate but similar incident, Pakistani forces have abducted one person from Balochistan coastal town of Gwadar.
Sources reported that Pakistan forces abducted Jameel son of Deen Mohammad from Javed Complex near Gwadar Bazar.
The victim is a resident of Jan Mohammad Bazar in Dasht Balochistan.
On 24 January 2018, Pakistani forces abducted two Baloch Students namely Ashfaq son of Abdul Khaliq and Shahab son of Haji Raaz Mohd from Parom area of district Panjgur Balochistan.
On the same day, Pakistani security forces abducted another Baloch youth namely Noor Jan son of Dost Mohammad from Resh Pish area of Panjgur.
The whereabouts of all the above-reported persons remained unknown until the filing of this report.
