 Balochistan: Pakistani military’s unabated offensives continue in Saheji

QUETTA: Pakistani army have been carrying out ground offensives and aerial bombardment in several mountainous areas of Makuran Balochistan from past four weeks.

According to details, Pakistan armed forces backed by drones and gunship helicopters have been carrying out attacks in the mountainous region of Saheji and Dhramb in district Kech Balochistan from past at least four weeks or so.

The most affected areas include Saheji, Dhramb, Kanda and Sewal where Pakistani forces conducted airstrikes.

Local sources on conditions of anonymity told BalochWarna News that Pakistani drones and helicopters have been hovering in the region, especially, Saheji from past four weeks and there have been heavy battles between Baloch fighters and Pakistani forces.

“Due to the ongoing bombardment by Pakistani forces, ground offensives and counter attacks by Baloch fighters the residents of these affected regions have remained stranded in their homes from past several weeks,” the sources informed BW News.

He further said that gunship helicopters were seen today (Tuesday) morning in the region but there have been no reports of bombardment until the filing of this report.

Separately, large numbers of Pakistani forces gathered in Sangsela area of Dera Bugti Balochistan which the locals say are preparing for a grand operation.

According to the Republican News Network (RNN), at least 40 military trucks loaded with heaven weapons and new contingents of Pakistani troops arrived in Sangela on Monday.

The residents Sangsela and surrounding areas fear that the Pakistani forces will intensify their ongoing offensives in the region.
