Balochistan: Pakistani security forces abducted more than a dozen Baloch in past four days
QUETTA: Pakistani forces unabated acts of violence including violating the sanctity of Baloch houses, harassing women and children during raids and enforced-disappearances the rances continue across Balochistan.
In their latest atrocities, Pakistan forces have abducted two people from Kesak area of Turbat on March 7, 2018. The victims have been named as Ali Bakhsh Qadir Bakhsh and Awaz Malang, residents of Tank village of Hoshab in district Kech Balochistan.
Also, in Tank area of Hoshab, district Kech Pakistani forces carried out searches on March 6, 2018 and abducted Samad Ali Jan.
On the night of 6 March, 2018 Pakistan forces carried out offensives in different are of district Kech and abducted at least three people.
The victims have been named as Tufail son of Rafique from Asiabad in Tump abducted from his houses, Jameel son of Anwar resident of Alandur abducted from Turbat’s Shahi Tump area and Doctor Akhtar son of Hammal was abducted from Parom area of Panjgur Balochistan.
Doctor Akhtar was abducted in a public place in the presence of several eye-witnesses.
Pakistan FC and other security forces have burnt down around 18 houses and a worship place of the Zikri Baloch in Kolwa area of district Awaran on 5th of March 2018.
Apart from burning houses of innocent Baloch, Pakistani forces also abducted Wahag Mia Madat, Mia Bahram Eid Mohammad and his brother Nek Saleh from Kanichi Kaor area of Kolwa during their offensives.
During another military offensive on the same day, Pakistani forces abducted Azim Imam Bakhsh and Fahad Ibrahim, residents of Malant area of Tump, district Kech.
Yet another incident the Pakistani forces abducted Saghir and Jalai, residents of Band Gwaz, Tump in district Kech from Tump.
Earlier on March 3, Pakistan FC and military have abducted Baba and Akram, both residents of Malant, Tump, district Kech, from Gomazi, district Kech.
All the abductees have been shifted to unknown locations and their whereabouts remained unknown until the filing of this report.
Pakistani military atrocities started in Balochistan in early 2000 when ex-military dictator declared a war against Baloch people after coming into power in an unlawful military coupe.
Baloch pro-freedom political parties and human rights organisation say that since the beginning of new war against Baloch people in 2000 and the new and prolonged phase of Baloch freedom struggle, Pakistani forces have abducted and disappeared more than 24, 000 Baloch including women and children.
International Human Rights Organisations and the UN Working Group on Enforced and Involuntary Disappearance have been calling on Pakistan to stop extrajudicial killing and arbitrary actions in Balochistan but so far neither Pakistan has stopped its atrocities nor have the Human Rights groups including UN taken any concrete steps beyond their news statements.
