Balochistan: Four abducted from Gwadar and Kech

QUETTA: Pakistani forces abducted at least four people in two different raids in Balochistan’s Gwadar and Kech districts on Sunday.

According to details, the Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies carried out house-to-house raids in Tump’s Pull Abad region in Turbat Balochistan and abducted at least two people.

The latest victims of Pakistani forces have been named as Salman son of Hasil and Zabi son of Sawali residents of Pull Abad area in Tump, Turbat.

In a separate offensive Pakistani forces have abducted two people from district Gwadar’s Pasni region.

Sources informed Balochwarna News that Pakistani army and intelligence agencies raided a house near Machi Market (Fish Market) in Pasni and abducted two men.

The names of the victims could not be confirmed until the filing of this report.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistani forces have started enforced-disappearances in Balochistan in the year 2000 when the latest ongoing phase of Baloch liberation movement started.

since 2009 onward the Pakistani intelligence agencies and military agencies have started the notorious ‘kill and dump’ policy in Balochistan under which they tortured to death the enforced-disappeared Baloch activists and threw their dead bodies in different town, cities and rural areas of Balochistan.

Baloch rights groups say that currently there are more than 20,000 people including women and children in the custody of Pakistani forces.

The international humanitarian organisation including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and Asian Human Rights Commission have also strongly criticised Pakistan for committing human rights violations in Balochistan.
