 Free Balochistan Movement Austria chapter marks International Women’s Day

Innsbruck (Austria): The Free Balochistan Movement Austria chapter have organised an awareness campaign on International Women’s Day in Innsbruck on Friday 8th of March.

The FBM activists distributed leaflets about Human Rights violations in Balochistan which highlight the enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings including that of Baloch women and children.

The activists also presented flowers to women and congratulated them on their important day.

The Free Balochistan Activist Shoaib Baloch said that women around the world still continue to suffer at the hands of men and government.

‘We know there are still millions of women whose rights are being abused by men and governments. It shows that we have a long way to equal the women’s right to men. The Baloch women’s rights abuse by the Pakistani government is a clear example that there are many women whose rights are being abused,’ Shoaib Baloch said.

The FBM activists thanked all the participants who supported their Save Baloch Women campaign and joined them raise voice against Human Rights Violations in Balochistan.
