 Balochistan: Eleven Baloch abducted in two days from Gwadar and Kech

QUETTA: Pakistani forces have arrested and forcibly disappeared at least eleven Baloch in last two days from Balochistan’s district Kech and Gwadar.

According to details, Pakistan FC and intelligence officials carried out raids in Sorok Bazar area of district Kech Balochistan Tuesday 28 May and abducted seven persons.

The forces have also harassed women and children during their unwarranted offensives at their houses.

The victims of abduction have been named as Fareed son of Ustad Ali, Farooq son of Ustad Ali, Mujahid son of Ustad Ali, Haleem son Haji Mohammad, Shoaib son Haji Mohammad, Babu son of Abdul Lateef and Freed son of Eid Mohammad.

Separately, on Wednesday evening Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies conducted offensives in district Gwadar Balochistan and abducted four persons.

Balochwarna News sources reported that four people namely Kamran son of Lal Bakhsh, Umran son of Lal Bakhsh, Gomaan son of Sabzal and Ali Mohammad were abducted from Gwadar’s Neyabad Kulanchi Pada area.

It is pertinent to note that despite the government’s claims of releasing previously abducted Baloch the enforced-disappearance in Balochistan is on the rise.

Only a few people have been released but the majority of the previously abducted Baloch are also still in the illegal custody of Pakistani forces.

The families of the abducted Baloch have been sitting at the protest camp of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons from past many years for the release of their loved one.
