 Balochistan: 3 men abducted from Panjgur, resident of Mand released after 2 years

QUETTA: Pakistan FC and intelligence agencies have abducted at least three men including a government servant from Balochistan Panjgur district within 24 hours.

According to details, Pakistani forces have arrested a government employee from Essa area of Panjgur Balochistan.

The abducted man has been identified as Abdul Qadir son of Fazal Mohammad resident of Essa. Local sources reported that he was arrested during his duty as an Exchange centre.

Earlier Pakistani forces whisked away another two residents of Panjgur who have been named as Jafar son of Hussain resident of Chitkan Bazaar and Suhail son of Hajir Hazoor Baloch resident of Katagari.

Jafar is a fuel trader whereas Suhail works in UAE who recently went to Balochistan on vacation along with his parents.

Yesterday, (28/09/2019) he returned home after buying return tickets to UAE but the Pakistan forces raided his residence and abducted him.

Meanwhile, a previously abducted Baloch has been released after two years of illegal imprisonment and ordeal.

Abdul Salaam son of Shanbeh resident of Mand was abducted 25 April 2017 and remained in illegal custody of Pakistan forces until his release on Sunday.

Baloch pro-freedom parties say that Pakistani forces have abducted and disappeared more than 20,000 Baloch including women and children.

Several hundred among them were killed in custody and their dead bodies with torture marks and bullet wounded were found in different areas of Balochistan.

Only a few people have been released but the majority are still in the custody of the Pakistani army and ISI.
