 Balochistan: State-backed death squads shot dead two Baloch youth

QUETTA: Two Baloch youth have been killed in different areas of Balochistan’s capital Quetta and district Kech in past few days.

According to details, a Pakistan government-backed group has shot dead a Baloch youth in Kashaap region of district Kech Balochistan on Sunday.

The victim Mujeeb son of Jaami resident of Kashaap was on his way to Turbat to make his passport when armed men intercepted him.

They culprits open indiscriminate firing at him and killed him on the spot.

In another similar incident, the state-backed death squad group members shot dead a youth in Hazar Ganji area of Quetta, Balochistan on Monday.

The deceased has been named as Mir Anwar Ababaki son of previously abducted Sardar Daro Khan Ababaki.

The victim’s father was abducted by Pakistani forces from his house in 2010 and his whereabouts remain unknown to date.

It is not the first time that Pakistan army-backed death squads have killed Baloch youth. In the past also pro-freedom Baloch youth have been targeted by the death squads who often have the blessings of Pakistani intelligence agencies and military.
