Balochistan: Father of disappeared student leader passes away
QUETTA: The Father forcibly abducted Baloch student leader, ex-chairman of BSO Azad Zahid Kurd Baloch has passed away on Sunday in Khuzdar Balochistan.
According to details, Haji Elahi Bakhsh Baloch lost the battle against a longstanding underlying illness.
Sources reported that Mr Baloch’s funeral will be held in Naal Tehsil Khuzdar Balochistan.
Yousaf Kurd Baloch, a younger son of Elahi Bakhsh was killed in a gun battle against Pakistani forces in January 2020.
Whereas Zahid Baloch was abducted on 18 March 2014 from Quetta Balochistan, his whereabouts remain unknown till date.
It is to be noted that previously several aged fathers and mothers of other disappeared persons have also passed away while waiting for the return of their loved ones.
Meanwhile, the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons in a Facebook post said that Javahiri Lala Hindu trader, who was abducted in April 2009 from Naal region of Khuzdar Balochistan.
The VBMP said that the organisation (VBMP) has also registered his case with Supreme Court’s ‘missing persons commission’ in 2010 and 2012 but the commission has failed to find and release him.
