Martyr Mohammad Khan Marri

It is has been said that history gives accommodation to those people in its pages who have commenced their struggle from reforms from their personality. Such people in their society strive to educate and make percipient to common people. Mohammad khan was one of such people who educate his fellow nation and community ideologically and human civilization with power of his pen. He always had been seen toiling for Baloch national Right through his pen. The writer had an introductory meeting with Martyr Mohammad khan at Balochistan University.
Mohmmad khan had contributed in shape of his write-ups in daily Tawar, Daily Asaap, Monthly Branz, BSO-Azad periodical sagaar, Sangar and Azaad. He always said that for achievement of great objective if sacrifice of life is needed he would gladly accept death but never compromise on his ideological belief – freedom of Balochistan. Such people in history anonymously like a nameless soldier pay sacrifice and include their name in list of glorious people and become a splendid symbol for nation. In history, these who give the ultimate sacrifice for a glorious cause get very prominent place reverence among fellow ideology holder, Mohammad khan in his life always had said that those, people are lucky who have gone through revolutionary process or revolution process roused in there age .
On11th April, 2012 Mohammad khan was abducted by Pakistan’s intelligence agencies from his office in Quetta. On the same day of Mohmmad Khan’s brother, Mohammad Nabi Quetta accompanied a friend also abducted from Serena Hotel.
The close circuit video footage of the aforementioned three Baloch activists was shown to Chief Justice Iftekhar Chaudhry during a hearing in Quetta. The footage clearly showed that the three men were being shifted to an FC Vehicle. Additionally, the traffic police men and DIG Shakeil also witnessed the abduction of these men and recorded their statements before the court of law.
The Supreme Court’s top judge had issued an order to FC and secret agencies to produce these men before the court. Unfortunately, despite the court order to release the men their mutilated bodies were found dumped on 28th may, 2012. Their cadavers packed in sacks were found by police near killi Gishkori and were shifted to Bolan medical Complex (BMC), where two dead bodies were identified Mohammad khan and Mohammad Nabi Marri.
The corpses were brought to New Kahan by an ambulance where a large number of people of all walks of life were waiting to receive the bodies of their national heroes. The brothers were laid to rest, side by side, in cemetery of Baloch national Martyrs, in New Kahan Quetta, in presence of be their aggrieved family members. On the burial occasion of Mohammad khan and Mohammad Nabi Marri their mother said “I felicitate to you people [the Baloch Nation] that my sons have sacrificed their precious lives for motherland and I am proud to be the mother of two martyred sons.”
The state of Pakistan is even though brutally killing Baloch youth but it is in a state of panic and has been physiologically defeated by the brave sons of Balochistan. It has used her all brutal mediums to deter the Baloch freedom struggle but has miserably failed to do so. Sadly, the complete blindness and silence of the International Community including the UN and the powerful democratic states of the world is encouraging criminal states like Iran and Pakistan to continue their atrocities in Balochistan. It is beyond one’s comprehension that despite knowing that fact that Pakistan has been double crossing the world about the war on terror and fight against global religious extremism, the world still has a soft corner for Pakistan. Pakistan has been, directly or indirectly, involved in all terrorism acts across the world including 9/11 in America, 7/7 in London, Madrid train attacks in Spain, Bombay attack, Sharm-ul-shaik hotel bombings.
Pakistan trains Taliban or other religious extremists and then spreads them across the other countries to destroy world peace. Moreover, Pakistan keeps Afghanistan destabilized to black mail the West in their war against terrorism. It has been milking both Al-Qaeeda and West in the name of war against terrorism. It gave protection to one of the wanted terrorists of world, Bin Laden, next to a military base but has been receiving huge funds from the West in the name of fight against Al-Qaeeda. Most of wanted and prominent leaders of Al-Qaeeda were killed inside Pakistan by American drone attacks. Even though many innocent people have been killed as well but I believe Pakistan is responsible for killing other innocent people that died in American drone attack because if Pakistan had not given sanctuary to Al-Qaeeda leaders in those areas, there would be no drone attacks and innocent people would not be killed.
The financial and material aid, weaponry, which Pakistan has received from the West to fight against Taliban extremists – has been and is being used against innocent Baloch people. Thousands of Baloch men, women and children have been killed by Pakistan using the Western provided weapons and fighter jets or gunships.
It is time for those countries that have blindly trusted Pakistan in the war against terror to think again and held Pakistan accountable for its double standards and deceitfulness. The International power instead of wasting their time, resources and energy on Pakistan must support the Baloch Nation in their struggle for National liberation because a free Balochistan due to its strategic location will provide enormous opportunities to the world to stop Chinese expansion in that region and counter the religious extremism. Moreover, Balochistan will also contribute to world’s economy due its rich natural resources.
