By Mehrab, Sarjov Independent Baluchistan whose deeps roots are in the past and future and whose flowering life or death for the future we share; as we share cultures and civilization. The quest for independence takes form of war because of the ignorance in the cause, and prominent opposer. Iran and Pakistan mean the liquidation of the Baluch and the Baluch society after their splendourous past. It will mean the liquidation of the basic human value, of man’s meaning to himself as an individual with mystery of life, which subsumed and shaped the modern era. Universal ignorance, denies Baluch nation creative channel forward from the crisis, and forces the Baluch into desperate violence, helplessness, anguish, and into desperate remedies compound of their darkness. Call it any thing but a religion. Modern mind progressive man stands against the ignorance and seeks life within form of living. It is useful to remind ourselves and others that the Baluch nationalist inspire love and sincerely self sacrificing love. Nationalism is not so much to kill but willing to die for the nation. Seton Watson, “all that I can find to say is that a nation exists when significant member of people in a community consider themselves to form a nation or behave as if they formed one. Duty, honour, country were formed on battlefields many years ago, and have never changed.†The Baluch Nation survives and flourishes because it has language, culture, history, religion homeland that fused the many wills into a single will, and demand and reward the sacrifices on which social life depends. There are Baluch communities the collective “we†the social organ that thrives and suffers as one. Common culture binds a society together. The great unity of Baluch society can be achieved by sacrifices. Baluch nation is confronted by common enemies. Common culture is method which unites the present member by dedicating them to the past and future of the community. Martyr became sacred and transfigured as they are and joined the community of ancestors. We honour the martyr because honour is due to him. I regarded Balaach than as I regard him now as one of the world’s noblest figures; not only one of the finest freedom fighter character, but also as the most stainless. Balaach belongs to the history as furnishing one of the greater examples of successful patriotism. Balaach belongs to people in future as the instructor of the future generations in the principle of liberty and freedom. Balaach belongs to the present, to us, by his virtues and his achievement. The living baluch are faced with options. They can find some secular path to the principled life, or they can fake the high emotions while living without emotions, or give up pretending and collapse into the dust of individuality. Speech of Walid Garboni on the ocassion of Shaheed Balaach Marri second Martyrdom anniversary I start with few verses from Sir Abdolmajeed Gwadari's poem that says in Balochi: بچّے Ù¾Û Ù…Ø§ØªØ§ مکھیں ساھا وتی کولیگ Ø¨Û Ú©Ù†Øª راجدپترا تا عاقبت نام ئی نمیران بیت مجید 'A son who gives his life in honour of his motherland, his name remains highlighted on history pages forever'. After this I wish to remind everyone that like general human conduct Baloch have proven that they are also not up for accepting slavery or alien rule on their motherland. Neither will Baloch ever leave the occupiers in peace until the occupiers have –as our leaders continuously put it –rolled back and left Balochistan. Martyrdom of Balach Marri in the hands of Pakistanis, while defending his fatherland; pushed many years forward the struggle for the liberation of Balochistan. He was fighting an enemy which has its moral values based on Iqbal Lahori's teachings. They blindly follow his teachings. Who says ''when you get nothing from a country, burn every bit of it''. Meaning your personal material interests are even above the very country you live in! Instead Baloch have thousands of year old saying in which Baloch still whole heatedly believe; it says ''a dry piece of wood of my fatherland is far better from all the excitements of the rest of the world''. Baloch say if Pakistanis are proud of Iqbal Lahori for saying what was mentioned before, we have our Zahur Shah Hashomi to be proud of on saying: راست گشتن Ùˆ راست کرتن راست زانگا أمباز بد گشتن Ùˆ بد کرتن Ùˆ بد زانگا أنگار "Tell the truth, do the right and know the facts Get rid of falsehood, negative action and useless readings". Let's not hate Pakistanis for remembering their Quade Azam; whom their own army dumped in Balochistan where he died of Tuberculoses. Instead be proud of Shahide Azam Nawab Akbar Shabaz Bugti; who at the age of 80 proudly sacrificed his own and his colleagues' lives for the liberation of Balochistan. Baloch don't envy Pakistan when they award various neshans/marks of respect to Tikka Khan for killing millions of Bangladeshi Muslims men, raping hundreds of thousands of practicing Muslim women and then stripping his own uniform in front of Indian Army. At the same time Baloch despise any attempt to stop them from expressing their pride on the Salar of Martyrs Mir Balach Marri for shedding his sacred blood for the honour of his fatherland -Balochistan! And allow me as a Baloch to express my disgust against invaders for firstly invading my motherland, then looting its wealth, thereafter, ruling with an iron fist and finally killing -cold blooded- the children, women, elderly and youngsters. Along with arresting, torturing and then caging for days, months and years the defenders of the honour of Balochistan and its vulnerable dwellings against the aggression. Pakistanis might not have anyone more respectable to salute than Ziaul haq or his likes. However, we have a long list of heroes to proudly salute. Be it Mir Doust Mohammad Baloch 1928 or Mir Balach Marri in 2007, or the latest known victim of Pakistani inhuman acts; Nissar Baloch in Karachi. They all added pride in Baloch's history with their determined and justified struggle. Let's not forget remembering the martyr Ayub Buledai whose anniversary is on this date. I end my speech with a quotation from Shahid Balach Marri. He said in a video interview, few months before his martyrdom "… Balochistan is part of this global village and its corners are connected with it. If you regard the USA as the head of this global village, by all means do so. And you may maintain a friendly relation with them. However, you can not regard them as the owner of the village. The houses have their own dwellers with their prides and values. As per Punjabistan is concern, they are the thieves and robbers of this global village. They loot and plunder as long as they are free. Once they are captured they shall be treated as any other thief and robber". Long Live Balochistan and its anti-fundamentalist, liberal struggle for the liberation. |
