The participation of Baloch women in freedom struggle is vital need of hour: Zamur Azad Baloch

The Baloch Gohaar Movement (Baloch Sister Movement) held in important meeting in to discuss regional political issues and China’s interference in Balochistan. The meeting also discussed the role of women in freedom struggle and planned to further strengthen their organisation.

The newly joined members from Nushki, Balochistan have been given their organisational positions and responsibilities and a four member organising committee of Nushi zone was officially announced – Banuk Semak Baloch has been selected as organiser, Banuk Aafreen Baloch deputy organiser whereas Banuk Sadia and Zainab Baloch are the members of the committee.

Central Vice Chairperson Banuk Zamur Azad Baloch and Nushki zone organiser Banuk Semak Baloch addressing the committee meeting said, “The participant of Baloch women in Balochistan freedom struggle has become unavoidable and along with Baloch brothers, the Baloch sisters should also join the national struggle for freedom.”

They said the Baloch women’s participation in the freedom movement will strengthen the national cause and also help to demoralise the enemy state.

Balochistan Occupation Day: Baloch Salvation Front call for shutter-down strike on 27 March

Balochistan was a sovereign state before 27 March 1948. Pakistan’s occupation over Balochistan is against International and human right laws.

The Baloch Salvation Front announced a Balochistan-wide shutter down strike on 27 March against the occupation and forced annexation of Balochistan, on Friday.

According to the press release of BSF on 27 March 1948 Pakistan has attacked, invaded and later illegally annexed sovereign Baloch state. Hence, on this day all business, schools and government offices will be closed in protest against occupation of Balochistan.

“Until 27 March Balochistan was an independent country and had its own parliament. The representatives of Balochistan’s parliament had not only opposed annexation plan but they had also said it clearly that they do not want to join Pakistan and destroy the future of Baloch nation,” Said the BSF central spokesperson.

According to the BSF press statement after the Baloch parliament’s refusal to merge with Pakistan, the Pakistani army attacked Balochistan violating all human rights and international laws and annexed Balochistan at gun point.

BSF said, “The country of Balochistan has never been a geographical or legal part of Pakistan. It [Balochistan] existed as a free country on the map of world before the Pakistan came into being and invaded Balochistan.”

Abdul Rehman Marri was abducted in 2009 by Pakistani ISI and FC officials, Fundamental Army statement pack of lies: Family

The “fundamental army’s” statement shows their connection with army and FC.

Family of Mr Abdul Rehman Marri on Wednesday expressed their concern about his non-recovery.

The immediate family of Baloch teacher said, “Abdul Rehman Marri was offloaded from a Quetta city-Hazar Ganji bound passenger at an FC check post by Pakistani officials. The statement and allegations by the “Fundamental Army” that Abdul Rehman Marri is in their custody and that he is affiliated with the Baloch Liberation Army have made the family concern about his well-being.”

The family of Baloch teacher and social activist said such statements show a clear connection between the Pakistan army, ISI and their hired criminal gangs.

The statement further read, “Abdul Rehman Marri’s case is currently being processed by the Supreme Court. We have appeared before the Supreme Court in person and on the orders of SC we have also lodged an FIR against the abduction of Mr Marri.”

China is giving logistic support to Pakistan to counter Baloch national struggle: Mir Qadir Baloch


The chairman of Baloch Salvation Front (BSF), Mr Saed Yousaf Baloch, and General Secretary, Mir Qadir Baloch, on Thursday said in a press release that any agreement with the occupying state [Pakistan] regarding (IPI) Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline and the Gawadar port is not only against the wishes of Baloch people but it is also in complete violations of regional and international laws.

According BSF leader’s press release, from past many years China in an attempt to expand its hold in the region has been providing Pakistan with logistic support and weapons to counter Baloch national struggle for liberation.

“The Baloch nation time and again expressed their reservation against hand over the administrational control of Gawadar port to China. No agreement with the occupying state against the Baloch consent and permission will be accepted; Baloch nation will strongly resist any such agreements,” The BSF leaders said.

The Baloch leaders further said that several countries has excused for investment in Balochistan because of Pakistani occupation of Baloch land but China’s acceptance for taking responsibility of administrational control of Gawadar illustrates that she is an equal partner of occupying state [Pakistan] in Baloch genocide.

Baloch Student Organisation and Baloch Salvation Front paid tributes to Haq Nawaz Baloch

The Baloch Student Organisation – Azad and the Baloch Salvation Front (BSF) have paid rich tributes to young Baloch freedom fighter Haq Nawaz Baloch on Sunday.

The spokesman of BSO-Azad has said that the way Sarmachar Haq Nawaz Baloch bravely fought against the occupying forces and defended the motherland is a guiding torch for the whole nation.

Haq Nawaz Baloch was the former president of BSO-Azad Noshki zone and a very active member.

“He endured every pain in the way of struggle with patience and steadiness. He remained resolute and unwavering at every point of the struggle. The martyr comrade joined BSO-Azad at very young age with the intent to practically contribute in the Baloch struggle, and did everything possible to organise the Baloch students. He sacrificed his every desire and need before the national struggle of Baloch nation. He made a history at a very young age,” the spokesman of BSO-Azad said in tributes to Haq Nawaz Baloch.

The spokesman further said that to eradicate fear, greed and apathy from the Baloch society and to attract international attention towards the Baloch struggle thousands of Baloch like Haq Nawaz Baloch have sacrificed their lives.

Military operations, abductions and killed & dump continue across Balochistan

Pakistan military has besieged many regions of Kalat and Khan Districts in Balochistan including: in Parod, Somalo, Nemargh, Dash-e-Goran and Lijje area.

The locals say they have witnessed dramatic increase of military personnel, armoured vehicles whereas gunship helicopters were also flying above these regions.


Pakistani military intensified its offensives as it started fresh operations in several regions of Kalat, Kharan and surrounding areas on Tuesday morning.

At least three Baloch civilians have been killed, 8 seriously wounded and two have been abducted so far. The indiscriminate bombing by military was reportedly continued until the filing of this report.

“Ground forces are backed with gunship helicopters and they armed to teeth with latest sophisticated weapons. The military has surrounded Paarod, Samalo, Nemargh and other areas from all four corners, it seems they have sinister plans in mind.” local sources told Balochwarna News.

Release my son immediately, cannot bear his absence any longer: Mother of Ramzan Baloch

The family of Ramzan Baloch said, on Thursday, the whole family was in anguish and his aged mother – already a heart patient – her health was continuously deteriorating because of the absence of her son.

The family’s statement further said Ramzan was the only bread earner of the family his disappearance has put the whole family in torment and difficulties. “We have tried all means of peaceful protest but it is affecting no one,” Said family sources.

They further said that they have adopted all means of peaceful protest but their plea seems of have fallen in deaf ears.

Ali Haidar Baloch the 9-year-old son of Ramzan Baloch said: “I am in third grade but now I am unable to continue my study due to the disappearance of my father. Leave alone the school fee it has even been difficult for the family to earn the bread.”

Balochistan: Enforced-disappearances and killings on rise as elections get closer

Pakistani security forces have accelerated in-custody killings and abductions of Baloch activists ahead of forthcoming elections.

Balochistan media sources reported that at least ten more Baloch have been abducted from Turbat, Pirkoh and Khuzdar towns of Balochistan whereas three bullets riddled bodies found from Mastung and Panjgur in past few days.

The bullet-ridden body of Babul Jattak Baloch was discovered in Mastung on 2nd February. Mr Jattak was abducted along with Mohammad Hiyat Baloch on 18 August 2012 from Mastung, Balochistan.

On Sunday 3rs February another mutilated body was found in Mastung which has been identified as that of Balach s/o Mohammad Younus. Balach was also reportedly abducted by Pakistani security forces sometime ago.

A day later yet another body of a previously abducted Baloch was found at Newlan dam area of Panjgur. The identity of the body was ascertained as Irshad s/o Elahi Baksh, a resident of Sarawan area of Panjgur who was abducted on 22, July last year.

Pakistani private TV channel accused of making racist comments against Baloch people

Baloch social media activists have launched a petition against the ARY Digital, a Pakistani TV channel, for mocking the dark skinned Baloch living in Karachi.

"A video clip recently aired on a Pakistani TV network (ARY Digital); show the hosts of the programme mocking Black Baloch by calling them ‘born thieves and people who cause problems wherever they live’. This is the insult to both Baloch people and black people all over the world," Petioner Sohaib Mengal said.

The petitioner further wrote wrote: “Most Pakistanis, even those living in the US, Europe, have no qualms about the contempt they have for Blacks. Inside Pakistan where a tiny minority of Baloch nation is dark skinned, the racism against these people is so marked and pronounced that it will shock most people.

“Most Pakistanis and Pakistani TV channels mock Balochi culture through demeaning these dark skinned Baloch.

The civilized people of the world should raise strong voice against this Pakistani racism against Baloch people.”

Bodies of 10 previously abducted persons discovered in Balochistan and Karachi

Eight bullet-riddled bodies previously abducted Baloch were found at two places in Balochistan province while two dead bodies were discovered in Karachi.

According Balochistan media sources three bodies were found on Thursday in mountains near Quetta, the capital of Balochistan. The men were said be arrested by Pakistani security forces from Barech Colony of Quetta during a search operation. Families of the victims have accused the Para-military for the killings.

According to police officials the hands and feet of the victims were tied behind and they hand bullet wounds on the upper torso of their bodies. Hospital sources confirmed the bodies appeared to be three days old.

Meanwhile bodies four Bugti Baloch were found in Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti district. Local residents informed security forces about the bodies. The deceased were named as Naik Mohammad, Mazar Khan, Nordin and Sabz Ali.

Separately, bodies of two previously abducted Baloch men were found in Karahci whereas one in Awaran district of Balochistan.
