MUMBAI (NNI): India test-fired its nuclear capable missile Agni-II on Sunday from an island of eastern Indian state of Odisha coast.

HERAT (NNI): The second International Women’s film festival kicked off in western Herat province of Afghanistan.

Norway pledges $110 million in annual aid to Afghanistan

KABUL (NNI): The government of Norway pledged $110 million in civilian and military aid to Afghanistan for the year 2015.

The commitment was made during Norwegian Foreign Minister Børge Brende’s visit to Afghanistan, Khaama Press reported.

23 militants killed during operations led by Afghan army

KABUL (NNI): At least 23 militants were killed following military operations led by Afghan National Army (ANA) forces, the Ministry of Defense (MOD) said.
