
Baloch Students distributed leaflets among London Olympics spectators

| Members of Baloch Student Organization – Azad distributed leaflets in Olympic Park among foreign and British spectators of London Olympics here on Saturday on the occasion of 11th August Baloch Independence day. The spectators were given information about Balochistan. The leaflets, made by Baloch Student Organisation-Azad and International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, contained detailed information about Baloch Genocide, human rights violations and forced disappearances. The leaflets also included a timeline about history of Balochistan. Majority of people had no idea about Baloch genocide and they expressed grave concerns on the criminal silence of International media about this issue. Many people expressed their support for the Baloch nation and their independence. The BSO-Azad further said that Balochistan gained complete Independence from British colonial rule on11th August 1947 and remained a sovereign state for 227 days. Later a new occupier Pakistan forcefully occupied the Baloch state. “It is the responsibility of Baloch men, women, young and old to continue the struggle till victory against the exploitative and occupying forces in Balochistan”, the BSO-Azad statement read.
