Quetta :

The Vice chairman of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons has said that though we do not have many expectations from the Supreme Court’s hearing about missing persons’ case on 8th October but we will still attend it. Not even a "Havaldar" has been suspended on Supreme Court’s order so far.

Denouncing the six points of Akhtar Mengal Mama Qadeer Baloch said, “We do not have any affiliation with the six points presented by Akhtar Mengal.”

Addressing a press conference at to the token hunger strike camp of families of Baloch Missing Persons Mama Qadeer said that we do not expect anything positive from the Supreme Court's hearing of case regarding law and order situation in Balochistan. It is astonishing that not even a Havaldar of Pakistan Army has been suspended let aside a brigadier or a colonel. We would have appreciated if any action was taken against perpetrators by the court.

He further said that we do not have anything to do with the six points presented by Akhtar Mengal. We only have a one-point agenda and that is the demand of an independent Balochistan. We would not negotiate on anything less than that and none of other solutions would be acceptable for us.

Qadeer Baloch’s son Jalil Reki was abducted and later killed in custody by Pakistani security agencies. Clarifying his stand on six points presented by Sardar Akhtar Mengal the Vice Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons said, "We did not sacrifice for six points. Thousands of Baloch youth are missing whereas more than 500 mutilated bodies have been dumped by Pakistani forces. People are still disappearing as the Pakistani security forces are still abducting elders and youth. The abducted Baloch are being tortured in military torture cells. We are not bearing all these sacrifices for six points, presented by Akhtar, and all our sacrifices are for the liberation of Baloch motherland. We completely denounce Akhtar's six points and want to bring on the record that we do not have association with any such kind of demands.”
