Quetta :

Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) said the silence of International Powers on Pakistan’s atrocities, violating the sanctities of Baloch houses, operations and target killing of Baloch nation is a great tragedy.

He said injuring several people and killings livestock by Pakistan military’s bombardment, pillage of villages in Marwaar and abductions of Baloch people and target killings by state forces are unabated crimes against humanity. He also charged that Pakistani forces are involved in target killing of intellectuals, doctors, students and other member of Baloch society.

Chairman Khalil Baloch said the raid on ‘daughter of Balochistan’ Naushin Qambaran’s house and threating to kill her and children are also sign of continued atrocities.

He said the international claimant of freedom of press have not taken up the issue of blocking the Daily Tawar newspaper after 13 days, neither have they acted when Baloch journalists were given death threats. “The silence of human rights Organisations on Pakistani state atrocities and gross human rights violation in Balochistan is deplorable and a big question mark for humanity”, said the BNM leader.

Mr Baloch also paid glowing tributes to Zahid Ibrahim Baloch, who was shot injured by Pakistani security forces in Tump few days back and had succumbed to his injuries in a hospital on Wednesday. He said the ideological struggle of Baloch youth and sacrifices of Baloch martyrs have introduced Baloch liberation struggle in all corners of world.

Appreciating the efforts of Congressman Dana Rohrabacher Mr Khalil Baloch said Rohrabacher’s concern about enforced disappearances in Balochistan and writing to American leader about the case of Comerad Zakir Majeed is a good step.

He said at this difficult juncture of liberation struggle the Baloch National Movement is striving to bring the plight of Baloch Nation to the attention of civilized world.
