Quetta :

The organizer of BSO-A gulf zone, Sara Baluch has said one must applaud the idea of Baloch activists taking remarkable advantage of right time by distributing pamphlets highlighting the Baloch cause during the London 2012 World Olympics events as part of awareness campaign. Looking forward, call for '30th August around the Globe Protest' is a significant step towards positive activism in the Baloch cause.

Baloch diaspora to carry out '30 August around the globe protest' rally across the major cities of the world. These rallies are to be held in London, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Ireland, Canada, Australia and other countries.

Sara Baluch further said, To make this -and any future global campaign- a success, it is about time Baloch activists "get connected" to the world i.e. take high advantage of modern communication technologies to highlight the Baloch cause. Social media and online activism could be very helpful to gain wider attention (have a look at Burma's case) The recent uproar on social media about brutalities in Burma is a perfect example. Posting updated pictures and videos of protests, events and seminars could do the job.

Raise awareness among civilized nations of the world about ongoing Baloch genocide committed by the Pakistani state. “Everyday discovery of mutilated bodies of Baloch youths have crossed the limit of state barbarism in Balochistan. Baloch are simply being killed for their demand of liberation. Spread it.” Said Sara Baluch

The world has become a global village today and it is all about communication. For Baloch diaspora living abroad it's even easier now, thanks to smart phones.

Banok Sara Baluch requests the Baloch nation to completely observe the shutter down strike call given by BSO-Azad on 30th August, for the safe release of Zakir Majeed and hundreds of thousands of other Baloch Missing Persons.
