
Three Baloch men shot dead in Khuzdar

| Unknown armed attackers have killed three men including a local trader in Khuzdar, on Monday. The incident has been termed as target killing of Baloch activists by state backed death squads.
According to details a local trader Sanaullah was shot dead at Chakar Khan Road where another two men named Ashraf and Riaz Ahamd Mengal were gunned down in Ahmad Rahi roundabout in Khuzdar town, Balochistan. The local authorities said they are investigating the matter.
Meanwhile the central spokesperson of the Baloch Republican Party has claimed that the deceased men were members of his party. Sher Mohammd Bugti was quoted by local newspapers as saying: “Mohammad Asharaf was brother of BRP’s Khuzdar zone organiser Naseer Baloch whereas Sanaullah and Riaz Baloch were also party activists.” He blamed the state security forces for killing the men.
The BRP’s statement further read that such barbaric acts of state were meant to deter the national struggle but the movement will not be abandoned because such acts. “We do not expect justice form state’s institutions as Baloch youth are being killed in presence of the claimants of justice which a clear message for Baloch nation from occupying forces.”
The Baloch Party has announced that a shutter down protest will be held on 5 September against the killings. Baloch nation have been appealed to make the protest successful. The BRP also appeal the United Nations and International Community to take notice of on-going Baloch genocide and play their due role to help Baloch get rid of state atrocities.
