Baloch Surgeon Doctor abducted near Matung

A surgeon of BMC, Dr Din Mohammad Bangulzai, was kidnapped in Ganji Dori area of Mastung district on Sunday night.

According to details Mr Bangulzai was on his way from Mastung to Quetta when unidentified people whisked him away. Doctor Deen Mohammad Bangulzai was returning from his clinic after seeing some patients. "The doctor's car was found in Ganji Dori area and he was missing," sources reported.

Dr Bangulzai is a resident of Mastung, Balochistan and works in Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) as a senior surgeon Doctor.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistani security forces have already abducted several Baloch doctors including Dr Akbar Marri, Dr Wazir Khan Marri and Dr Deen Mohammad Baloch. Their whereabouts are still unknown. Many Baloch doctors have also been target killed by the death squads of Pakistani security agencies.
According to the BMC sources, Bangulzai goes to Mastung every Sunday to run a free medical clinic and that he does not belong to any political party.

Meanwhile doctors observed over the abduction of their senior associate, Dr Deen Mohammad Bangulzai.

Baloch Doctors Forum (BDF) and Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) announced to boycott duties in order to mark protest against the abduction of their colleagues. The protesting doctors vowed to continue their strike till the recovery of their Dr Bangulzai.

The masses faced problems as outdoor patient departments (OPDs) of all public hospitals including BMCH and civil hospital were closed. Moreover, doctors shut operation theatres of Bolan Medical Complex.
