Pakistan FC check posts attacked in Barkhan and Kohlu

Two check posts of the Frontier Corps were attacked in Barkhan and Kohlu, in the southeast of Quetta, Balochistan on Tuesday.

According to details unidentified armed men attacked two check posts in Dolwai area of Barkhan and Kohlu. However, according to Pakistani media, no losses of lives have been reported. The attackers have fled after the FC personnel retaliated.

Meanwhile, a spokesman of the Baloch Liberation Army, Azad Baloch, accepting the responsibility for the attack on the FC post, claimed that in Barkhan at least two FC personnel were killed and three were injured when fighters from his organisation attacked an FC check post. Whereas separately an FC camp was attacked in Kohlu, four FC men were killed and five were injured.
Kech: Four BC officials killed, over a dozen injured in Turbat attack

Four personnel of Balochistan Constabulary officials have been killed and several wounded in a remote control blast in Shahi area of district Turbat in Balochistan here on Tuesday evening.

According to details the Kech Assistant Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Sasoli confirmed that two trucks of the Balochistan Constabulary were on their way to Turbat from Quetta when they were hit by a remote-controlled blast. At least four personnel were killed on the spot and over sustained injuries, he said, adding that the bomb was planted on the roadside.

The killed and the injured have been shifted to a nearly hospital where the condition six wounded personnel was said be critical.

The Pakistani security forces are frequently attacked in Balochistan, where the Baloch resistance organisations are fighting for independence of Balochistan. However, there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the latest incident.
