Balochistan: Wave of Enforced Disappearances Sparks Alarm, 10 Individuals Abducted in Two Days
Balochistan: Tortured bodies of four previously abducted Baloch recovered, 10 more whisked away
Quetta: The tortured and mutilated bodies of at least four previously abducted Baloch were found in Karachi and Mastung area of Balochistan whereas at least ten Baloch activists including an ex-chairman of BSO have been abducted in past 24 hours.
According to details three bodies of previously abducted Baloch were discovered in Abdullah Goth area of Karachi on Tuesday.
The identity of the corpses was ascertained by notes found in their pockets. The bodies have been recognised as that of Amal Marri Baloch, Abdul Rehman Marri Baloch and Najibullah age 30.
The missing persons record on bygwaah shows that Abdul Rehman aka Rehman Marri along two other men Sanaullah Marri and Hussain Hamd Marri was abducted from Chaman area of Balochistan in 1st, January, 2008 – the latter two are still missing.
All the three men were residents of New Kahan Quetta who had gone to the bordering town of Chaman for employment purpose.
The bygwaah record also shows that another man with same name [Abdul Rehman Marri] was abducted from Quetta in June 2011.
The secong Abdul Rehman Marri was a school teacher and a social activist at News Kahan. He was offloaded from a passenger bus own his way from Quetta city to New Kahan Hazar Ganji, Quetta, Balochistan.
It more likely that the body found in Karachi is of the Abdul Rehman Marri abducted from Chaman in 2008.
The Vice chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, Qadeer Baloch, informed media persons that Hammal Marri was abducted from Hub town of Balochistan three months ago, Rehman Marri was abducted in 2008 and Najibullah was abducted from Makuran area of Balochistan.
The bodies of all three victims were reportedly still kept in a morgue in Karachi until the filing of this report.
Meanwhile family of Shah Mohammad staged a protest demonstration at Quetta Press Club and demanded the arrest of his killers on Tuesday.
Mohammad Ameen a resident of Kanak area of Mastung said that his nephew of Shah Mohammad son of Mohammad Ibrahim was arrested by AC (Assistant Commissioner) Mastung two days ago and on Tuesday Morning his dead body was brought to the local hospital.
He said: “The police allege that my nephew died of heart attack but there were marks of torture on his body which prove that he did not die of heart attack. In fact he was tortured to death by police and killed in custody before bringing his body to hospital.”
Mr Ameen and other family members of Shah Mohammad chanted slogans against the government and demanded for the immediate arrest of his killers.
Separately Pakistani security forces carried out a raid at Ramzan Marri Goath in Sakuran area of Hub town in Balochistan and abducted at least nine (9) people.
The abducted men have been accused of killing eight Punjabi labours in Hub Poultry Form area few days ago.
According to Daily Twar, a Balochistan based Urdu newspaper, the Pakistani security forces confirmed that the men have been taken to an undisclosed location for interrogation and their names are being kept secret because of security reason.
The ex-chairman of BSO Mr Lala Jan Baloch has been abducted from Uthal area of Balochistan on Wednesday reportedly by Pakistani security forces.
On the other hand along with abductions and kill and dump Pakistani security forces also continue military operations across Balochistan.
On Wednesday sources reported that three women and two children from same family have been wounded as forces bombed their house in Katan area of Dera Bugti, Balochistan.
