Land mine blast outside Balochi singer’s house injures three children
DERA BUGTI: Three children have been critically wounded in a blast outside the house of Balochi singer Sabz Ali Bugti house in Janki area of Dera Bugti on Saturday.
According media sources Sabz Ali’s six-year-old niece Nabila and seven-year-old son Abdul Majeed Sabz were playing outside their house when the landmine went off.
A government official from Dera Bugti confirmed that that ‘critically wounded’ children have been shifted to a hospital in Rahim Yar Khan District in Punjab.
They had to be taken to Punjab because there were no proper health facilities in Dera Bugti, Balochistan.
Hospital sources said: “The six-year-old girl is in critical condition.”
The motives behind targeting the children is not known yet and no group claimed responsibility of the attack.
It is pertinent to mention that Mr Sabz Ali Bugti greeted the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons Long March last year and walked with them for few hours.
Recently the Pakistani security agencies have started abducting and killing people who supported and hosted the VBMP long marchers.
