Balochistan: Bullet-ridden body of previously abducted Baloch youth found in Turbat
The body of a young Baloch with bullet wounds was found in Turbat while three others have been abducted from Kalat, Balochistan on Saturday morning.
According to details Shujahat Baloch along with four other men was abducted by Pakistani security forces yesterday from Pidark area of Turbat Balochistan.
The other three men were released later but Shujahat’s whereabouts remain unknown until early Saturday morning when his bullet-ridden dead body was found.
Shujahat’s uncle, a Balochi language poet, Kamal Kahudai along with other four members of his family was killed during a military operation in March 2014.
Beheaded body found: earlier on 29, January, 2015 decapitated body of a man who belonged to Zikri Baloch community was found in Golden Palm area of Gawadar Balochistan.
The victims was identified as Baran son of Hussain Baloch. Local residents said that he has been killed by criminal gangs of Pakistani army and ISI.
Baran Baloch’s son Ijaz Baloch was abducted by Pakistani forces a year ago and he has been searching for his young son since his abduction.
But, instead of releasing his son the Pakistan military-backed criminal gangs beheaded him [Baran Baloch] in Taliban style and dumped his body.
Meanwhile Baloch activists on social media reported that Pakistani forces abducted three innocent civilians from Kalat region of Balochistan.
Pakistan military and other security agencies continue their crimes against humanity with impunity as they consider themselves above the law. Despite a so called civilian in Pakistan the military remain in the driving seat and continues to pull the string.
The Human Rights Watch in its 2015 report has said, “The human rights situation in Balochistan remained abysmal. Despite the May 2013 election of a civilian government, the military has retained all key decision-making functions in the southwestern province and blocked efforts by civil society organizations and media to cover ongoing violence there.
The HRW also said that Pakistan security forces abducted Zahid Baloch chairman of BSO-Azad in 18 March last year but to date his ‘whereabouts and safety remained unknown’,
The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, an organisation raising voice against enforced-disappearances on behalf of the families of abducted Baloch, says that more than 18,000 Baloch have been abducted by Pakistani forces since 2000 when Musharraf took power.
