Inter-Community Forum London to organise a meeting on national struggles for liberation
The Inter-Community Forum London is organising an event on 14 March, 2015 from 3 pm to 7 pm to discuss the national question of liberation struggles for self-determination and national liberation.
The four hour meeting will hear from the representatives of different nations across the world that are still struggling for their national liberation from repressive states.
The Inter-Community Forum was set up in January 2015 as a democratic space to share ideas, to find basis of mutual support and build a common action and cooperation between communities.
Aims of Inter-Community Forum, London are as follows:
- To promote mutual understanding, friendship and unity between all peoples who live in London, having come from different countries around the World.
- To encourage studying together and carrying out inter-community educational activities concerning the common problems we have in our homelands and in London, United Kingdom, mainly related to Imperialism, Colonialism and Decolonization and their impact on issues of class, gender, race, nationality, migration and discrimination as they affect us.
- To discuss common problems together and share ideas and experiences between each other, in order to strengthen internationalist solidarity, raise awareness as well as propose solutions and take action.
- To hold as its major gatherings bi-monthly meetings of the Inter-Community Forum to deepen our understanding of our common problems, organise other activities and joint actions; as well as show the presence of our struggles and solidarity at different community events.
- To constantly mobilize for the membership of the ICF to grow by opening wider participation to all communities, community groups, organisations and individuals who identify with these ideas.
