Balochistan: Military operations and abductiond, kill and dump policy of state continues unabated
At least five bullet-ridden bodies of previously abducted Baloch including three newlywed grooms were found dumped in Gwarjek and Turbat on Tuesday as military operations continue in different areas of Balochistan.
According to details Pakistan forces conducted simultaneous military operations in different areas of Balochistan including Pasni, Dasht, Sinjavi, Jafarabad and Hub Chowki and abducted several innocent Baloch.
The bullet-ridden bodies found in Gwarjek area of Mashkay Balochistan were identified as that of newlywed Ijaz s/o Fazal, his brother Aftab s/o Fazal also newlywed, Basit s/o Lal Baksh, and newlywed Shah Nawaz s/o Faiz Mohmmad.
Bodies of all the victims reportedly bore torture marks and were shot dead in custody of Pakistani forces.
Sources reported that the victims were abducted on 21 April, 2015 from a marriage ceremony along with another four people including a 10 year old. The other victims who are still missing are: Mehbob s/o Yar Jan, Sultan s/o Karim Baksh, Nawaz, and 10 year old Meeran Baloch.
The fifth victims of Tuesday’s kill and dump was identified as Shoaib Baloch an activists of Baloch Republican Party who was abducted by Pakistan forces on 18 April, 2015 from Turbat during a raid on his house.
Pakistani forces abducted another member of the BRP named Sadam Khosa on Tuesday night during a search operations from Jafarabad area of Balochistan.
According to Baloch social media activists Pakistani forces also conducted a military operation in the Sinjavi, Pasni and Dasht – Zarren Bugg – regions of Balochistan.
Local sources reported that the state forces harassed women and children during the raids and looted basic necessities of the residents.
In separate but similar military aggression Pakistan forces abducted at least 11 Baloch during a raid on a hotel situated between Hub town and Gaddani Balochistan in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Few days ago on 19, April, 2015 Pakistan have reportedly abducted another 9 people from the same area whose whereabouts still remains unknown.
The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons – a Baloch Human Rights Organisation – struggling for safe release of Baloch missing persons alleges that Pakistani forces have abducted more than 20,000 Baloch since the beginning of military operations in Balochistan in early 2000, when Ex-Pakistan dictator General Musharraf declared war against Baloch people.
It is also pertinent to mention that Pakistan has deployed thousands of troops in Balochistan’s Makuran region during the visit of China’s president two days visit.
Baloch political parties and activists have expressed their concerns over China’s visits and signing of treaties with Pakistan regarding controversial projects including Gawadar to Gashgar road and the so called Pakistan-China economic corridor.
The Baloch armed group fighting for independence of Balochistan have, on several occasions, warned foreign investor to refrain from signing any deals with Pakistan regarding the national resources of Balochistan.
