Pakistani forces killing enforced-disappeared Baloch in staged encounters: Chairman VBMP
The Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, Nasrullah Baloch, has appealed Human Rights Organisation and civil society group to raise voice against killing of enforced-disappeared Baloch in staged-encounters by Pakistani security forces.
Mr Baloch in a press statement on Tuesday said that effected families from Kalat, Johan, Kabo, Shishaar and other surrounding regions have informed the VBMP that their loved ones were arrested from houses in presence of family members. But later their brutally tortured and bulled-ridden bodies were found dumped in surrounding areas.
“Such acts on part of security forces are extra-judicial and are grave violation of human rights. We strongly condemn these action.
“We suspect that during these operations tortured bodies of previously missing Baloch were dumped because in the past also bodies abducted Baloch (killed in custody) were surfaced during operations who the forces claimed to have killed in encounters,” Nasrullah Baloch said.
He said that according families sources hundreds of people were arrested and disappeared during Kalat operation majority of them are still being held by Pakistan forces.
The Chairman of VBMP appealed to Human Rights Organisations, civil society groups and other humanitarian organisations to take notice of these oppressions and repression and raise voice to bring an end to such inhuman actions.
