Pakistan’s civilian government and military decides to send fighter jets to bomb Balochistan
Pakistan’s civilian government and military leadership have decided to intensify the ongiong military operations in Balochistan and send PAF (Pakistan Air Force) fighter jets to support the ground forces in their offensives against Baloch people.
Balochistan national media sources reported that Pakistani gunship helicopters bombed civilian populated areas in Mastung, Johan and surrounding areas on Saturday killing at least five people and injuring several others. The ground forces were reportedly supported by eight helicopters.
They Pakistani forces also carried out a house-to-house search operation and abducted dozen of people. The locals have reported that military personnel have harassed women and children during the operations.
There were also reports to properties and loot and plunder of valuables by Pakistani forces.
The operation started days after Pakistan’s ‘civilian government’ and military leadership have decided to take ‘stern action’ under the National Action Plan against Baloch freedom struggle.
Meanwhile, the dead bodies of three men were found from Johan area of Mastung. The identity of the bodies could not be confirmed immediately, however, locals believe the victims were arrested by Pakistan forces during the military offensives and killed in custody.
It is pertinent to mention that nine dead bodies that were found in Mastung few days ago, were buried yesterday without ascertaining their identity.
Earlier this the chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, Nasruallh Baloch, had demanded setting up of special morgues and cold storages to keep the bodies for a longer period so that relatives from far flung areas of Balochistan could come and identify their loved one.
