Balochistan: Pakistani Forces Abduct Several Baloch During Military Offensives
We have no connection in killing of Irshad Mastoi: BLA
A Baloch resistance organisation’s spokesperson said Saturday that Pakistani state was using different propaganda tools to counter the Baloch freedom movement.
Jiand Baloch a spokesman of the Baloch Liberation Army in a statement to media said that Pakistani security forces arrest and torture Baloch political activists and coerce them to release video messages against Baloch freedom movement.
Talking to NNI Mr Baloch said that his organisation has no connection in killing of Baloch journalist Irshad Mastoi who was killed along with two other media persons on August, 28, 2014 when armed men stormed his office in Quetta, Balochistan.
The spokesman of BLA said it was pertinent to make it clear that BLA does target those who collaborate with Pakistani forces against Baloch struggle. He added, “We have said it time and again that journalists should perform their journalistic duties without any fear and intimidation. But those journalists that left their journalistic responsibilities and started working for state we have already target killed them who include Mujahid Cheshti, Mahmood Afridi and Faiz Sasoli.”
He said the Pakistani state forces were using Irshad Mastoi’s murder as a malicious conspiracy against the Baloch Liberation Army and national liberation movement.
“The Baloch Liberation Army respects all those activists who speak, write and work against state atrocities in Balochistan. Veteran Baloch activist Mama Qadeer, Vice Chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, have been struggling for recovery of disappeared Baloch in past six year. His struggle and sacrifices are praiseworthy,” said Mr Jiand Baloch.
Mr Baloch said that Mama Qadeer should beware of state’s misleading conspiracies because the state forces are trying to take advantage of his simplicity. “We are certain that Mama Qadeer will understand the state’s treacherous plots and continue his work with full zeal.”
He the occupying state forces have brutally tortured and killed thousands of Baloch including son of Mama Qadeer Baloch and it was a crude joke that now they were offering security to Mama Qadeer Baloch.
On 1st September a Pakistani minister Sarfaraz Bugti claimed that Pakistani intelligence agencies apprehended two suspects who ‘confessed’ killing Baloch journalists Irshad Mastoi and also planning to killed Mama Qadeer Baloch and others.
Meanwhile Mama Qadeer Baloch told Mashaal Radio that he has been receiving threats from intelligence agencies in past many years and he still fears from the intelligence agencies of Pakistan. He said he has been running the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons camp from past six year.
He said there was no rational reason why would any Baloch organisation try to harm him because he is struggling for the same cause as them.
