Balochistan: Military operation in Awaran, two killed several abducted

AWARAN: At least two people were killed and several others abducted in Pakistani military operations in different area of Awaran Balochistan. The new wave of operations reportedly started four days ago.

The Balochistan based Humgaam News website reported that Pakistani military have attacked and burned several houses in Gudop Ziyarat and Pulangi areas. “Pakistani forces tortured and harassed Baloch women and children injuring 11 years old Javed Baloch.”

Several people have been reportedly abducted including 70-year old Qadir Bakhsh Baloch.

Separately, Two Baloch were killed and dumped in Draaj Kaur area of Jhao, Balochistan.

Sources reported that Khaliq Dad and Siraj Baloch were murdered by Pakistani forces in custody and their bodies were dumped later.

Baloch social media activists on ground reported that Pakistani forces have set up news security check point in Mashkay, Awaran and other surrounding areas.

Meanwhile the Baloch National Movement (BNM) in a statement claimed that that Pakistani forces also burned down the house of its Secretary General Dr Mannan Baloch and tortured his relatives including Mr Mannan’s wife in Harooni area of Mashkay.

A spokesperson of the BNM in a statement to media said, “more than 500 houses has been burnt to ashes only in Mashkay and Jhaoo and several villages are razed to ground.”
