Families of Baloch martyrs appeal nation to unite on National Remembrance Day
QUETTA: Several family members of Baloch martyrs in a joint statement have urged the Baloch nation to forget their insignificant differences and hold the 13 November as ‘Baloch Martyrs Day’ to show unity among their ranks.
The relatives of Baloch Martyrs including Waheed Baloch, Sami Baloch, Saeed Mengal Baloch, Khalil Baloch, Abdul Salaam Advocate Baloch, Naseer Baloch, Rasool Baux Mengal Baloch, Nisar Baloch and several others have issue a joint statement about the importance of the ‘National Remembrance Day for Baloch Martyrs’ and appealed the Baloch nation to end their petty differences to jointly hold this day as show of unity.
They said the Baloch Martyrs laid their precious lives for the national cause of Balochistan and they preferred to resist the occupation than surrendering before the enemy [Pakistani forces].
“It is our national responsibility to remember and respect all the martyrs equally because they do not belong to a particular party or group. They were the national assets of Balochistan.”
The families said every Baloch who is struggling against slavery and freedom of Balochistan is the political heir of Baloch martyrs.
They also appealed the Baloch nation to organise programs in honour of the martyrs of liberation and highlight the cause of Baloch fallen heroes.
“We request the Baloch nation to organise recitations and prayer events at their homes for Baloch Martyrs of freedom and help make successful the shutter down call by Baloch Martyrs Committee on 13 November.”
It is worth mentioning that Baloch nation every year celebrates the 13 of November as the ‘National Remembrance Day for Baloch Martyrs in Balochistan and abroad.
This year also all pro-freedom Baloch political parties and student organisations have announced separate events on 13 November to pay their respects to the fallen heroes of Baloch liberation struggle.
The Baloch Diaspora communities are also preparing to arrange events on 13 November in different countries of world.
Baloch social media activists are running an online campaign using hashtag #BalochMartyrsDay on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram until 13 November to give awareness to the wider world about Baloch struggle and Pakistani state atrocities against Baloch people.
They have appeal all free and democratic nations and people from other occupied countries to help raise the voice for Baloch nation on social media.
