Balochistan: 8 Pakistan security forces personnel killed in Nushki
NUSHKI: Armed men attacked a camp of Pakistan Frontier Corps in the early hours of Saturday in Ahmad Wall area of Nushki Balochistan killing at least eight soldiers and heavily damaged the camp.
The firing and gun battle from both sides continued for more than an hour before the attacker managed to flees from the site.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army ‘Jeeand Baloch, informed media sources that fighters from the BLA have attacked the FC camp Saturday night to commemorate the Baloch Martyrs Day and in reaction to killing of innocent Baloch women and children in different areas of Bolan.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistani forces have been attacking Baloch civilian in different regions of Bolan Balochistan from past two weeks.
Local sources had reported that more than 60 people including women and children were arrested and disappeared by Pakistan forces.
Mr Jeeand Baloch said that Baloch fighters attacked the Main camp of Pakistani forces in Ahmad Wall area of Nushki from different directions while at the same time the BLA’s sniper team has targeted a Pakistani security forces check post in Ahmad Wall near Kharan Cross.
He said that at least eight Pakistani security forces personnel were killed and several injured in both attacks. “BLA accepts responsibility for the attack,” He added.
Talking to NNI from an undisclosed location Jeeand Baloch said that Pakistan has violated the international laws of war by abducting and killing Baloch women and children and the human rights organisations remained silent on such crimes against humanity of Pakistani forces.
He said in response to Pakistani forces brutal and indiscriminate attacks against Baloch civilians including women and children the “BLA has also decided to abandon sparing women and children of enemy [Pakistani forces.]”
Mr Baloch said that if the human rights organisations continue their silence on killing and abduction of Baloch women and children then “the women and children of Pakistani forces cannot escape from our organisation.”
He said the human rights organisations then won’t have any rational reason to make noise about the attacks of Baloch fighters against Pakistan forces and their families.
Jeeand Baloch said, “We [BLA] as a responsible organisation have always respected laws of war and values of Baloch code of conduct but now the enemy [Pakistan] and their collaborators are forcing us to take extreme steps.”
