Balochistan: A lieutenant Colonel of Pakistani army wounded 4 Baloch Sarmachaars killed in Kech
DASHT: At least four Baloch freedom fighters were killed and one Pakistan army Lieutenant colonel was seriously wounded in a 15-hour gun battle in Darchko area of district Kech Balochistan on Tuesday.
According to sources the fight broke out after the Baloch Sarmachaars attacked a convoy of Pakistan Para-Military forces.
Lieutenant Colonel Haroon has been critically injured in the firing between Baloch fighters and Pakistani forces. The Colonel was shifted to CMH (Combined Military Hospital) Quetta for treatment.
Resident of the affected areas reported that Pakistan forces backed with gunship helicopters attacked civilian populations and cordoned off the several townships by establishing check-posts at all entrance and exist routes.
A 9-year-old Baloch girl, Samreen daughter of Fida Hussain Baloch, was killed due Pakistani forces indiscriminate firing on Baloch civilian populations in Dasht area of Turbat Balochistan.
The Baloch fighters killed during Dasht battle have been identified as Jala Baloch resident of Nodez Kech, Ghani Bugti Baloch resident of Dera Bugti, Sabir Baloch and Daad Jaan Baloch resident of Pedarak Balochistan.
The four fighters belong to Baloch resistance organisations Baloch Republican Army and the Baloch Liberation Front.
Baloch social media activists claimed that dozen of Pakistani forces were killed by Baloch fighters in different area of Balochistan including Zangi, Hochaat, Bahot chaat, Sorak Kour and Drachko area of Dasht Kech. However, news has not been verified by government and other media sources until the filing of this report.
Pakistani force intensified their offensives in Kech and other surrounding districts after Baloch fighters had kidnapped four candidates of Local Bodies election in BP-50 and attacked the house of Akran Dashti a member of pro-establishment National Party.
