Pakistan Military Offensives: Punjabi Army Will Not Succeed in Balochistan
Pakistan trying to eliminate the Baloch and Afghan intellectuals: Hyrbyair Marri
LONDON: Baloch pro-freedom Baloch leader Hyrbyair Marri termed the attacks on Kabul University and Civil Hospital Quetta tantamount to the Bengali people’s genocide by Pakistan. “The way the Pakistani army and their proxies targeted and killed the educated people of Bengali nation, they are also repeating the same crimes in Afghanistan and Balochistan under a pre-planned policy in order to eliminate the intellectual and educated people of both nations.”
Hyrbyair Marri said that such attacks by Pakistan and its religious proxies are aimed at wiping out the educated section of Afghan and Baloch society and to socially and politically paralyze both brotherly nations. “First Civil Hospital Quetta was attacked where Baloch and Pashtun lawyers were targeted, then the Punjabi Army under the pretext of this attack intensified the Baloch genocide and carried out operations in Pakistani occupied Afghan areas,” Mr Marri added.
He further said that Pakistani army was playing victim after the attack on Quetta Civil Hospital and it is trying to cash this attack on international level to get more financial aid, which will then be used against Baloch pro-freedom forces in Balochistan.
He said that after the attack on Balochistan’s lawyers in Quetta, the Pakistan army has immediately termed it an attack against so called China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, but in actual this attack against Baloch and Pashtun lawyers, doctors, journalists and common citizens was carried out to succeed the ‘corridor of death and destruction’ because “Punjabi army knows that more educated and politically mature Baloch and Pashtun will become deterrents against evil design of Pakistan (Punjab).”
He said, “Pakistan is only Punjab where other nations are not tolerated even those who are loyal to Pakistan. An obvious example is the recent army action against Urdu speaking people in Karachi. Punjab did not tolerate the Bengalis who played their role in the making of Pakistan nor will it tolerate the Urdu speaking people or any other nation.”
Hyrbyair Marri termed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement about gross Human Rights violations on the Independence Day as a positive development for Baloch freedom movement and said it was because of continuous and tireless sacrifices of Baloch nation that the entire world including Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh and America are talking about Baloch national freedom.
He said, “Narendra Modi and the Indian nation have realised that India, Afghanistan, America and Balochistan are natural allies against terrorism in the region hence America and Europe should also understand that to cleanse the region from Pakistani terrorism, establishment of Independent Balochistan is inevitable.”
