Balochistan: Pakistani forces abducted several Baloch women and children from Bolan
QUETTA: Pakistani military and other security forces have abducted at least fourteen Baloch women and children from Senjaval area of district Bolan on Wednesday.
The Daily Humgaam, an Urdu online news site reported that Pakistani forces have been carrying out attacks against innocent civilians in different areas of Bolan from since last week.
On Wednesday, the armed forces of Pakistan attacked a nomad population in Senjaval near Shahrag and abducted at least 14 Baloch women and children.
The abducted victims included Wife of Khair Deen Somalani and his four children, aged mother of Gull Khan, his wife and five children, two daughters of late Bangaan Somalani and Wallo Somali are among the latest victims of enforced disappearance in Balochistan.
Several houses were also set on fire during the brazen attack and more than 300 livestock including one horse have also been loaded onto military trucks and taken away.
It is also pertinent to remember that on Wednesday morning the dead bodies of five Marri Baloch were found in Talli whom the Pakistani forces claimed to have killed during a gun battle.
The eyewitnesses, however, confirmed to BalochWarna News that the victims were arrested and disappeared on Tuesday morning (29/11/2016) during attacks on their houses and the following evening their bullet-ridden dead bodies were found.
The victims’ were named as following:
1. 80-year-old Sohrab son Bakht Ali Marri (He was completely paralysed from one leg and could not walk).
2. 70-year-old Tawkali Marri son of Bakht Ali Marri
3. 35-year-old Hammal Khan son of Qadir Khan Marri
4. 20-year-old Faiz Ahmad son of Ali Bakhsh Marri
5. 60-year-old Bakht Ali son of Haji Mehr Ali Marri
The fifth victim has been named as Sohrab Marri an 80-year-old disable man.
All the victims belong to Jityani, a Sub-caste of Marri Baloch tribe, and are said to be close relatives including two brothers.
Pakistan army, Frontier Corps (FC), Sibbi Scout and intelligence agencies backed by gunship helicopters have resumed their attacks in Bolan on 26 November.
Local sources reported that at least 13 people were abducted on the first day of the offensive.
The attacks and siege in several regions of Bolan including Lahki, Jaladi, Jenjaval, Shahrag and adjoining areas continued till filing of this report.
