Pakistan Military Offensives: Punjabi Army Will Not Succeed in Balochistan
Balochistan: Six previously abducted men presented to media as ‘militants’ of an armed organisation
QUETTA: Pakistani forces surfaced six previously abducted Baloch in Kohlu and claimed to have arrested them between Kohlu and Pirkoh on Wednesday.
The Baloch Social Media activists, however, reported that these six ‘innocent Baloch’ were abducted a few months back in Pirkoh area of Dera Bugti and now have been presented on Pakistani media as ‘militants’ belonging to a resistance organisation.
The victims Nabi Bakhsh son Peshni Bugti, Gazzo son of Khair Mohammad Bugti, Mohammad Bakhsh son of Peshni Bugti, Ghulam Nabi son of Khair Mohammad Bugti, Maula Bakhsh son of Ali Bakhsh Bugti, Rayzo son of Khair Mohammad Bugti and Ali Baig son of Peshni Bugti were abducted from Pirkoh area of Dera Bugti around six months back.
Their whereabouts remain unknown until Wednesday 7 December 2016 when Pakistan forces presented them on media.
Lately, the Pakistani army and paramilitary forces have shifted their policy from torture, kill and dump to fake encounters.
Under this policy, they present previously abducted Baloch on their media and later kill them claiming that they tried to run away or they carry out attacks against Baloch populations in different areas of Balochistan and kill and dump Baloch already in their custody and claim that they were killed in an encounter with security forces.
Such crimes of Pakistan go unnoticed because the military has turned Balochistan into an army garrison and made it completely off limit to international media and Human Rights organisations.
The Baloch pro-independence parties and Human Rights groups have been urging UN to send a fact-finding mission to Balochistan and witness Pakistani state accesses, enforced disappearances, and extra-judicial killings of innocent Baloch.
