Balochistan: Party not serious in addressing political shortcomings: Estranged BRP CC member

QUETTA: A Central Committee member of the Baloch Republican Party (BRP) has resigned over ‘nonseriousness’ of party’s central leadership for resolving political shortcomings.

Mr. Baba Baloch in a statement to media said that he was denouncing his membership from the BRP because the party is not serious about addressing political issues despite identifying and pointing them out on several occasions.

He said, “My friends and I put our energy into strengthening the Baloch national cause and for the principles of the party.  We have galvanized support for the party from Makuran to Bolan.  We tried to spread political consciousness and awareness from the BRP’s platform.”

However, the statement claimed that Mr. Baba and his friends repeatedly pointed out the shortcomings and weaknesses of the party, but the central cabinet’s carelessness and negligence deterred them from addressing the concerns of estranged members.

“Hence my friends and I announce our resignation from the central membership of BRP and from now on we have no affiliation with BRP,” he added.
