Balochistan: Six Pakistani soldiers killed in two different attacks in Kohlu and Sibbi
QUETTA: Unknown armed men attacked two check posts of Pakistani security forces killing at least six soldiers and injuring many others on Friday and Saturday evenings.
According to local news sources the spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Mr Azad Baloch, said that fighters from his organisation have attacked two check posts of Pakistani forces in Arand area of Sibbi and Mayt Wadh area of Kohlu Balochistan.
The battle at Arand lasted one hour whereas the battle in Mayt Wadh continued for two hours. At least six Pakistani soldiers have been killed and another eight wounded in both attacks.
Azad Baloch said, “BLA accepts responsibility for the attacks and killing of Pakistani soldiers and vows to continue such attack until Baloch national freedom.”
Meanwhile on Saturday Pakistani forces conducted offensives in different areas of Balochistan including the capital city Quetta.
Daily Tawar, an Urdu newspaper from Balochistan, reported that Pakistani force raided several areas of Nushki and sealed all exit and entrance routes.
The FC and police have carried out joint offensives in Killi Dawood Abad, Ajabadi colony, Faisal colony and several other localities.
The Pakistani forces harassed women and children during house-to-house search operations and looted valuables of the residents.
No arrests were made until the filing of this report.
