Balochistan: Pakistani FC check post attacked in Panjgur, BLA accepts responsibility
QUETTA: armed men attacked a check post of the Pakistan Frontier Corp (FC) in Punjgur Balochistan on Tuesday evening.
According to details, a check post of FC came under heavy attack and firing in Saraduk region of Panjgur Balochistan and the gun-battle between Pakistani forces and attackers continued for at least one hour.
Local media sources reported that the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) accepted responsibility for the attack.
The spokesperson of BLA, Azad Baloch, informed media form an undisclosed location that ‘our organisation accepts responsibility for the attack.’
He also said that Baloch fighters attack the FC check post with automatic weapons due to which the Pakistani forces suffered heavy losses.
He vowed that they will continue such attacks until the national liberation of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, after the attack, the Pakistani military and FC carried out joint search operations and offensives in the area against innocent civilians.
Sources informed Balochwarna news Pakistani forces terrorised and harassed women and children during their operations and looted valuables from homes.
