Balochistan: Pakistani forces kill two Baloch in Awaran
QUETTA: Pakistan Security forces have killed two Baloch men in Jhao area of Balochistan’s tense Awaran District on Thursday.
The local Levies sources claimed that the men were killed during ‘an exchange of firing between Pakistani forces and armed men’.
Independent sources, however, say that the men were executed after their arrest.
“The victims were shot from a close range and there were torture signs on the dead bodies,” a local source confirmed to BW news on the condition of anonymity.
The Pakistani forces later shifted the bodies to Civil Hospital Awaran where one of the dead bodies were identified as that of Sailan son of Peer Mohammad resident of Peerandar district Awaran and Khan Mohammad son of Ghaus Bashkh resident of Gresha area of Khuzdar Balochistan.
Separately, Pakistani forces conducted offensives in different areas of Mastung including Killi Shekhan and surrounding localities.
Pakistan forces have looted valuables from houses and harassed women and children.
Local sources reported that fresh contingents of Pakistani forces arrived in the region to expand the military offensives in other areas.
The local police are also said to be supporting the FC (Frontier Corps) in these offensives and operations.
