Balochistan: Four Pakistani security forces personnel killed in Gwadar and Quetta
QUETTA: At least four Pakistani security officials have been killed in three different incidents in Quetta and district Gwadar Balochistan in past 24 hours.
According to details, two FC personnel died while four others were wounded in an IED attack in Siyaji area of Dasht Jewani of district Gwadar on Sunday.
The Pakistani security personnel were patrolling when their vehicle was blown up, as a result, two personnel Arif Nawaz and Imran died while Ramzan, Saleem, Quddus and Sajid have been wounded.
Meanwhile, the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) spokesperson Gwahram Baloch claimed that they targeted the Pakistani force’s vehicle in Siyaji. He claimed that a vehicle was destroyed in the explosion and four Pakistani soldiers were killed, two others wounded.
Two days prior to this attack on 26 January, two Baloch fighters were killed in face-to-face battles against Pakistani forces in Chotain region of Kolwah area of Balochistan.
The martyred Baloch fighters were identified as BLF fighter Mobarek aka Hammal resident of Teertej Awaran and Shoab aka Lakmeer a Baloch Republican Army fighter resident of Shapuk are of district Kech Balochistan.
Both BRA and BLF paid tributes to their deceased members in different statements to media and said that they were dedicated and freedom-loving fighters.
BRA’s spokesperson Sarbaz Baloch said that sarmachar Shoab Baloch has defended organisation’s base camp and protected his friends from the enemy forces for three hours.
The BRA gave him the title of ‘Kohisaar e watan’ for his bravery and dedication to the Baloch cause.
Two officials killed in Quetta: In a separate incident on Sunday, an Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF) was killed in Kechi Baig area of Quetta – the capital of Balochistan.
According to details the ATF official Ahmed Khan was sitting was at a friend’s tailor shop, where he worked after his night duty when unknown armed men barged into the shop and shot him dead.
Meanwhile, on Monday armed men shot dead a customs officer in Quetta Balochistan.
Sources reported that unknown persons attacked a customs van at Mastung Link Road near Shaik Zaid hospital Quetta; as a result of the attack Muhammad Kasim, a resident of Lahore city of Punjab Pakistan was killed.
No group accepted responsibility for the killing of Pakistani officials in Quetta until the filing of this report.
