Balochistan: Pakistan FC and military abduct eight people from different areas
QUETTA: The Pakistani forces have abducted a youth from Meenaz area of Buleda on Monday 26 February.
The victim has been named as Abdul Basit son of Abdul Majeed whom the Pakistani forces have abducted from his house.
The Pakistani troops have also stolen gold and cash from the Basit’s house.
Separately on Monday, Pakistani military have abducted four Baloch youth from Dasht area of Turbat Balochistan.
Two of the abducted men have been identified as Ghafoor son of Bohair and Faraz son of Rasheed whereas the identity of the other two victims could not be confirmed immediately.
Pakistani forces have also forcibly closed several local shops and threatened the shop owners with dire consequences in case of reopening their businesses.
In a similar incident, Pakistani security forces have abducted two Baloch youth on February 25 from Buleda area of Turbat Balochistan.
Source reported that Pakistani forces carried out raids in Meenaz are of Buleda early Sunday morning and abducted Akram son of Abdeen and another youth – whose name could not be confirmed until the filing of this report.
Both men have reportedly been shifted to a nearby military camp.
Earlier on 24 February, Pakistani forces have carried out raids in Kharan city of Balochistan and abducted at least one person.
The victim was named as Kaleemullah son of Alam Bakhsh whose whereabouts remains unknown since his abduction.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistani forces regularly carry out raids in different areas of Balochistan and they have so far arrested and disappeared hundreds of innocent people from across Balochistan.
The Baloch local human rights organisations including Voice for Baloch Missing Persons say that Pakistani forces abducted more than 20,000 people.
