Free Balochistan Movement to organise worldwide protest on Balochistan Occupation Day
London: The Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) has announced to organise worldwide protests and other events to high light the illegal occupation of Balochistan by Pakistan on 27 March 1948.
The FBM confirmed that it will hold protest demonstrations in London, Germany, Canada, USA, the Netherlands, Sweden and Afghanistan on 27 March 2018 to mark the occupation day of Balochistan and give awareness to the world community about Pakistani state terrorism against the Baloch nation.
The pro-freedom Baloch political party has invited all Baloch and other human rights activists to join its protests around the world and record their protest against the illegal occupation of Balochistan.
In its statement to media, the Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) said that since the occupation of the sovereign state of Balochistan in on March 27, 1948, the Baloch has been observing the 27 March as a Black day. On this day in 1948, Pakistan attacked and forcibly annexed the Baloch country to the fanatic state of Pakistan.
The Baloch nation, however, never accepted the illegal occupation of their country and resistance the leadership of Agha Abdul Kareem Khan, to regain their independence. The Baloch national liberation struggle continues to this day. Million of Baloch men, women and children in Balochistan and abroad are striving for their freedom.
From 27 March 1948 to date Pakistani state forces have killed and abducted thousands of Baloch during indiscriminate bombardment on their houses, target killed the highly educated Baloch and disappeared many forever.
Pro-freedom Baloch political parties and Human Rights Organisation working in Balochistan say that more 24,000 Baloch including women and children have been abducted during the latest phase of Baloch freedom struggle which started in the early year 2000. More than 6000 abducted Baloch have been killed under-custody by Pakistan forces. The victims include university professors, students, lawyers, poets, singers and human rights, doctors, social activists and other highly educated members of Baloch society.
To highlight the plight of the Baloch nation and the illegal occupation of Balochistan by Pakistan, Free Balochistan Movement, lead by Baloch leader Hyrbyair Marri has announced to hold protests and meeting in different cities of Balochistan and abroad.
