 Balochistan: Two Baloch fighters martyred, Pakistani troops killed in a gun battle

 

QUETTA: Two Baloch fighter of a Baloch resistance organisation have been martyred while at least one Pakistani soldier has been killed in a gun battle in Dasht area of district Kech Balochistan on Tuesday 3rd April.

According to details, Baloch fighter engaged in a face-to-face fierce gunfire against Pakistani forces in Pasht Kaor area of Dasht Turbat Balochistan.

At least two Baloch fighters Mudeer aka Meeras Baloch and Ameer aka Azum Baloch have embraced martyrdom while at least one Pakistani soldier Irfan has also died.

The military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has described the fight as ‘an IBO (intelligence based operation)’ as part of the military’s Radd-ul-Fasaad and in support of the ‘Khushhal Balochistan’ (Happy Balochistan) program.

Meanwhile, the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) said both fighters were members of organisation’s ‘Tactical Combat Unit’ team who fought bravely in the battle and embraced martyrdom.

The BLF in its statement also claimed that at least nine Pakistani troops including a captain were killed and another ten have been wounded.

The spokesperson of BLF, Gwahram Baloch, paid ‘Red Salutes’ to martyr Mudeer and Ameer Baloch and said that they sacrificed their lives for Balochistan’s freedom struggle.
