Sindhi political party protests against Pak’s atrocities
SINDH, Apr 25 (ANI): Pakistan’s pro-freedom political party Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz”>Sindh Muttahida Mahaz based in Sindh province on Wednesday protested against atrocities of Pakistan demanding independence for Sindh, Balochistan, Pashtunistan and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir (PoK).
Hundreds of JSMM activists including men and women marched from Indus Highway to the Town where they placed floral wreaths on the mausoleum”>mausoleum of Sain GM Sayed, the famous Sindhi scholar, politician, ideologue and founder of Sindhudesh Independence Movement, at his native town Sann, the statement from the party read.
The political party had organized a commemoration ceremony on the occasion of his 23rd anniversary.
The statement added that the participants of rally carried pictures of the Sindhi political activists who were enforced disappeared by Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and army. The other placards and banners read the demand for the release of all missing political activists and demand for the independence of Sindh, Balochistan, Pashtunistan and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir (PoK).
A political gathering was also organized after commemoration.
“The state has banned the freedom of expression and political organization of JSMM. Sain GM Sayed was imprisoned and kept under house arrests for 32 years and now entire Sindhudesh movement is barred from political activity and organization by this fascist state in the same way,” the statement quoted Senior Vice Chairman of JSMM, Lala Aslam Pathan, as saying.
“Today, your presence here in hundreds, despite all restrictions put by the state’s forces fascist forces, proves that nothing and none can stop us ever from standing by the right and seeking the independence of our occupied country. The teachings and political ideology of Sayed are the truth of history and can never be suppressed by any means,” he added.
