Balochistan: Pakistani security forces vehicle destroyed in Kahan IED attack, BLA accepted responsibility
QUETTA: A vehicle of Pakistan security forces have been destroyed in an IED attack in district Kohlu’s troubled region of Kahan area on Thursday.
According to detail, a Pakistani army convoy was on its way to Shameni area of Kahan to carry out more offensive against unarmed Baloch villagers when the Baloch freedom fighters attacked the forces.
Sources reported that as result of powerful IED blast one of the vehicles of Pakistani forces has been completely destroyed and all persons on board either died or have been wounded.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Azad Baloch, informed media sources that Pakistan forces have been conducting military offensives in several areas of Kohistan Marri’s Kahan area from Past several days.
He said, “The Baloch fighters are also strongly and continuously resisting the join offensives of Pakistan army and FC (Frontier Corps) against unarmed civilians. On Thursday our Sarmachaars (freedom fighters) carried out an IED attack on Pakistan forces vehicle in Kahan’s Shameni area. One vehicle was destroyed and several persons on board died and have been wounded.”
He said that Pakistani forces have surrounded the area from different directions and Baloch fighters are also attacking them on different fronts.
Accepting the responsibility of the IED attack Azad Baloch said, “Our organisation Baloch Liberation Army carried out this attack [in Shemini]. Our war of national liberation will continue until the Baloch establishment of Baloch sovereignty and freedom.”
